Dead Space as a videogame horror franchise is still a favourite of mine. When the first game launched in 2008 it felt incredibly novel. The sci-fi world of the USG Ishimura and the Concordance Extraction Company felt so much more lived in and fleshed out than almost any other game setting at the time.
A while back I played through the Dead Space mobile game on a tablet. Even the mobile game slaps! It's fast, responsive, and even manages to have a story that gives classics like Super Metroid a run for its money.
I doodled a bunch of stuff from the game while playing through it.
While I doubt we'll ever get another Dead Space game again (Visceral Studios was sadly shut down by EA), I'd love to see this series get a 4K remaster on current consoles.
If you're a fan of horror games and haven't checked these out, give em a try!
